I ordered an Arduino Nano to test and will comment here if I get it working.

This looks like a fun project with lots to learn. I’m always amazed with what can be done with a cheap sensor like the MPU-6050! I previously started working on a project for an RC plane stabilizer based on the MPU-6050 with the Arduino Nano.
